It all started in 1998.

A group of 19 dancers from Chicago came to San Francisco because of their love for a dance, the Lindy Hop.

Unwittingly, they created the first ever "Lindy Exchange"

The Lindy Exchange became a cultural phenomenon. In only a few years the "exchange calendar" was packed with events across the country, and even across the world. Hundreds of dancers would descend upon a city and share and exchange their love for the dance, only for it to happen all over again in another city the next weekend.

We are a family, cross-connected across the globe and visiting each other on a regular basis. Welcome to our home.
